Gourmet Grilled Cheese

The Whey Station is a Food Truck, Trailer, and Caterer serving a creative menu of Gourmet Grilled Cheese from Classic Combinations to Innovative Creations.  What started as a joke in 2011 to avoid working in restaurants and that joke has turned into our whole business model.  Josh graduated from Johnson & Wales and before getting behind the wheel of the food truck he sold wheels of cheese in a local cheese shop. The first truck was a humble little thing and since then a few different vehicles have rotated through, mostly because of tragic accidents like the great National Grilled Cheese Day Fire of 2022.  The Whey Station prides itself on bringing you the highest quality Grilled Cheese, and you can trust that the next one will be just as epic as the one you had last time.  Our cheese blend is grated by us, our bread is locally baked, and we strive to bring you unique and delicious combinations.  You will often see Josh behind the grill or in the window, on weekends you may be placing your order with his husband Matt or one of their 7 kids.    

You can catch the truck all over the state of Connecticut and across state lines at Corporate Caterings, Breweries, Concert Venues, Colleges and if you are lucky, maybe the next Wedding, Birthday or Party you attend.
